2017 Project Awards Nominations are Open

The Northeast Chapter of the BCA Project Awards for 2017 are open and on the following schedule:

  •  Summit – 3/21 open nomination period

  •  August 21 – Nominations due

  •  NCBC – October - Announce Award winners

  •  Chapter Annual Meeting – January 2018 – Hand out awards

Project Awards

The BCA NE Chapter is seeking nominations of new construction and

existing building commissioning projects and commissioning programs for

our 4th Annual Project Awards.

Nomination period opens March 21, 2017 and closes August 21, 2017.

Application fee: $50 for members, $100 for non-members Project Award

information and applications can be found at the NEC website


Our project awards recognize both commissioning providers and project

owners. Join the past winners in gaining recognition for your clients’

support of the commissioning process.

2016 Project Award Winners

The Northeast Chapter’s 2016 Project Award winners that were announced at our Annual Chapter Meeting on January 26, 2017 in Springfield, Massachusetts:

·      New Construction – Winner: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. School, Stephen Turner Inc. and City of Cambridge, MA

·      New Construction – Honorable Mention: Biogen Idec Headquarters, BR+A and Alexandria Real Estate Equities

·      Renovation – Winner: SUNY Purchase, Loring Consulting Engineers and State University Construction Fund

·      Renovation – Honorable Mention: Cayuga Medical Center Surgical Addition and Renovations, Erdman Anthony and Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca

·      Existing Buildings – Winner: Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Zuckerman Research Center, Eneractive Solutions and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center

The awards are given to both the commissioning firm and project owner to receive recognition for their focus on improving building performance through the commissioning process. Congratulations to our 2016 Award winners!
